India - Ford India has launched the new Facelift ECOSport starting at price 7, 31,200 rupees (Ex-Show Room Price, Delhi). It comes with the 2 fuel options Petrol and Diesel with lots of cosmetic changes into in.
Ford has totally restyled the new ECOSport and it comes with around 1,600 new components added into it.
Looking at outside, ECOSport comes with new Front Grill, Day-time Running LED Lights with Projector Headlamps, no change in rear side as well as tyre size, at the interior side, it comes with the 8.0-inch touchscreen system with Ford Sync 3 Infotainment System, which supports Apple Car-Play , It has Engine Start / Stop button & redesigned Steering Wheel and Instrument Cluster.
The new ECSport has a new 3 cylinder Ti-VCT 1.5 liter petrol engine which is bit smaller comparing in its segment. However the best part of engine is its light weight and more fuel efficient in SUV segement. This 1.5 engine pumps out the 123 PS power & it delivers 17 KMPL of mileage.
The diesel engine is 1.5 liter TDCI engine, which gives the 100 PS power and delivers mileage of 23 KMPL. This diesel engine comes with five speed manual transmission.
Looking at safety side, Ford has installed 6 airbags in this new variant along with ABS.
The new EcoSport will compete with Maruti Vita Brezza, Honda WR-V & new Tata Naxon.
