Volvo cars spare parts can be found easily in India, but how its possible?
Sweden's automobile company Volvo Cars has plans to assemble its 2 more models-Axc 60 and V90 at the local level to strengthen its business in Indian Market.
At present, the company assembles the AC 90 and S90 models in its production plant in Bangalore. Company is in the final stages of opening the Parts Warehouse in the India, so that its dealers can supply spare parts much faster. Volvo said we are expecting some SPA (platform) cars by the middle of this year 2018," The Charles Frump Managing Director (MD) Charles Frump said in press-conference .
He said that SPA platform cars include V90 Cross Country and AC60, which are yet to be assembled in India.
Therefor Volvo Cars launched a local assembly of XC990 model cars in Bangalore in October last year. This month the company started the local assembly of the S90 model from this plant. Both models are based on the company's scalable SPA platform.
