Ather 340 and 450 electric scooters launched in India with touch-screen dashboard
Indian Electric Vehicle Startup Ather Energy has introduced two new electric scooters Ather 450 and Ather 340 in India on Tuesday, on the special occasion of World Environment Day, Ather 450 Price at Rs 1,24,750 and Ather 340 is worth Rs 1,09,750. At present, these scooters can be purchased only in Bangalore. Ather 340 and 450 get subsidy of Rs 22,000. Pre-booking of scooters has also started.
Speaking of features, the top speed of Ather 450 is 80kmph. This scooter can hold the speed of 0-40kmph in 3.9 seconds. The Ather 340's top speed is 70kmph and it can hold 40km speed in 5.1 seconds.
In the Ather 450, Fast Charging has been supported, with the claim that the company will claim mileage up to 50 kilometers in 1 hour of charging. It has a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. Battery with the scooters will get 3 years warranty.
Scooters have a 7-inch touch-screen dashboard. The company has also introduced an app for this dashboard. Navigation tool will also be found in the app. Through this app, all information about scooters will be available. Both scooters have an inbuilt reverse assist feature that helps to move the bike rider backwards, although during this time the maximum speed will be 5km / h.
