Maruti's new ciaz to be launched on August 6, know what will be special
New Delhi Maruti's Facilitator Ciaz has been waiting for a long time in India. This car has been spotted during testing several times. After the introduction of the new variant Hyundai and the Toyota Yaris in the Sedan segment, the competition here has become very fast now and it has had an impact on the sale of Ciaz. In such a situation, Maruti was considered necessary to bring Ciaz Facelift model. Maruti Suzuki has announced that Facilift Ciaz will be launched in India on August 6, 2018. It will be sold through Maruti's premium dealership Nexa.
Engine: Ciaz Facelift will be powered with 1.5 liter petrol and 1.3 liter DDiS diesel SHVS engine. 5-speed manual gearbox will be provided in both petrol and diesel variants. It is believed that the company can now replace the 4-speed gearbox with the petrol model and replace it with automatic transmission.
New changes: There are many cosmetic changes in Ciaz Facelift which make it more than ever. In this car you will find new bumper, new headlamps and new tail lamps. Apart from this, there will also be a cruise control in the car. There will be no change in the layout of the car dashboard.
Hundai Varna will be competing with Maruti Ciaz . Hyundai varna has the 1.4-liter Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine. This engine will generate 100PS power at 6,000rpm and 13.5kgm torque at 4,000rpm. This engine is equipped with 6-speed manual transmission. In Hyundai varna, 1.4 liters of petrol engine E and EX variants are given. Price variant of E variants is 7.80 lakh rupees, while ex has 9,09,990 lakhs. Apart from this, there is also a 1.6 liter petrol and 1.6 liter diesel engine. According to the company, the new 1.4 liter petrol engine will give 8 percent more mileage than the 1.6 liter petrol engine.
Price: By the way the company has not provided information about the price of Ciaz but it is being speculated that it can be expensive from the existing model. The price of the current Ciaz is between Rs 7.83 lakh and Rs 11.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
