Soon auto companies will deliver vehicles with number plates fitted into it - Mr. Gadkari
NEW DELHI: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari made a statement for all Indian vehicle manufacturers , that the very soon vehicles will be delivered to customer with number plates fitted to vehicle and the cost will be added to the vehicle final price. Currently the decision is made for only four-wheeler vehicles
Mr. Gadkari said we have taken an very important decision, hereafter the car manufacturers will fix the number plate to vehicle and embossing can be done later through machine.
However the price-range for number plates starts from Rs 800 to Rs 40,000 and its depend on customer & states.
Also, Mr. Gadkari said we took decision keeping vehicle security in mind, there will be no security compromise as far as vehicles were concerned and these norms will be applicable for all vehicle models i.e. it can be economy class or luxury class vehicals.
